LIBBA JAMES

Libba is a counselor at Windsor High School in Windsor, Colorado. She has the privilege of working with Kelley Sperry, who was diagnosed with Parry Romberg in 2000, and the Sperry family. Libba is committed to offering support to those who are impacted by Parry Romberg Syndrome.

Libba received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She is currently working on her Ph.D. in Counseling and Human Development at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

Libba specializes in loss and grief counseling. She works part-time at Hospice of Larimer County as a facilitator for teen grief groups and is an active member and contributor to the Association for Death Education and Counseling. She is particularly interested in how teens use technology to seek out grief support for death and non-death related losses.
